    You can use the approved I-140 from company A to get a 3 year H-1 for company B assuming your priority date is not current. However, because you have not been working for company A, you are technically not in valid non-immigrant H status and though Company B's H-1 petition should be approved for three years, the extension may not be granted. This means that at some point you would have to leave, get a new H visa and then return.

    so it took you almost 9 months and you still don't have the H1 renewal? wow... that's unbelievable. I just received an email from my lawyer's legal assistant and they have received the H1 approval notice. So I have no idea what the hell is going on!

    I have always surrendered both (done it 3 times so far) as it says on the I-797 that it will delay the re-entry if I did not surrender the one printed on it.

    Nice stuff for first photos, especially since it looked like pretty harsh lighting. I particularly liked the guitar, though a little smaller aperture for a slightly more depth of field would have probably made it even better.

    Does this mean this memo is not legally binding to USCIS adjudicators ?
    Is it a victory in disguise for plaintiffs ?

    If I remember correctly, the lawsuit was that USCIS did not follow proper rule making procedures.
    Court says rule making need not be followed as this memo is not legally binding.

    That is true. However, it is not difficult to figure out that Ruth is a supporter of legalization of the undocumented. That's why the only bills covered at the end of the report are all legalization bills. She seems to have "extensive" analysis on per-country limits on EB &FB, but doesn't have the ink to write 1 line about country limits on the undocumented. The report systematically and intentinally overlooks all other bills that are related to legal immigration only. Most of the time, its not what is written, but who wrote it and how the information is presented which matters.

    We did it twice and never was asked for w2. Just recent pay stubs will do. Just have all of them - if asked.

    My wife came here on h4 then got her h1, got it stamped. worked for two years. Went back to h4 for couple of years when we had our baby. Got h1 and stamped again. All we submitted were just the required (listed documents in the site).

    If I am not wrong, you must be paid by your consultant. So, those missing days should be a working days as per your consultant is concerned. I work on site too. when there is holidays that my consultant doesn't approve, Consultant pay for those missing days. I am not sure how your consultant is going to utilize you for those missing days. Talk to your consultant, they should be able to help you. Good luck

    This is what I think:
    Report your address moving even within same comunity/zip if you have not done already ASAP.
    If the address in Oregon is going to remain your permanent address then you do not need to report your stay in CA.

    My family still stays in Oregon and will continue there. We also moved to diff apt one month back in Oregon. ( In the same apt complex/zipcode)

    I will stay here in CA for couple of months.

    Can I give the present address in Oregon for all of my family members Since my family still staying there.

    Do I need to give my present address for me in CA. I may be moving to diff apts here depending on project/confort.
