Hello,
My Present H1B stamp is with company A and expires November 20 2007. Now I'm with company B and with this I have my petetion (H1B approval) which expires June 20 2008. Now I'm travelling to India for my marriage and coming back September 8. I'm not getting the new stamp this time. Will I have any problem during the immigration ??
Also with my present papers, my wife would be attending her visa Interview on Sep 4. Will there be any problem for her at the interview ???

Just make sure you show you approved 797 petition from company B ( for whom you are working ) at POE to the immigration officer so he can enter the correct employer in their system and also gives u the correct I 94 which should expire on June 20 2008.

I am a Spanish citizen and I am currently holding an F-1 visa with post-completion OPT that expires in 06/2011. I am working at a company in VA and I got married in Michigan to a US citizen in 09/2010.
My company is offering to sponsor me for an H1B visa in order to continue working here after 06/2011. I am also preparing all the paperwork to apply for a change of status to a green card through marriage (I-130/I-485). Can I submit the green card application at the same time as my company submits the H1B request?
I also have to travel outside the US on 05.2011. I know I would have to ask for advance parole in case of green card application or obtain an H1B visa stamp outside the US if the H1 has been processed. What is the best way to be able to travel abroad in these circumstances?

1. The title noted on the labor form was "Associate". On the job description letter, is it ok if the title is noted as "Financial Associate Analyst". Plus my labor was approved as IS Manager. Would the "financial" title cause a problem?
2. My lawyer put a very generic sentence as my job description. Does my job experience letter have to have the exact same generic sentence in it? and is it ok if the letter has more duties on it other than the one mentioned on the labor form (i did different stuff at that job, finance, IT, sales etc)
3. My lawyer put the required degree on the labor form as "Computer Science". However; I have a MIS degree. Is that going to be a problem when applying for i140?
It is surprizing that generic description of a job got through Labor without any questions. There is no clear answer to your questions. General principle is that jobs description should be more or less same as in Labor application. Create your rectangle with the rectangle tool. Make sure you rasterize the layer first (right click on the layer with the rectangle and choose rasterize).
Now hold CTRL and click on the layer with the retangle. This will select the rectangle. Now go to Edit/Stroke.
Mess with the settings in there and voila, you have a black border around your square.

I just checked the copy sent to me from my law office. It says I-485 pending for the current status. I got the EAD renewed without any problem.
I saw somewhere that you can alos write AOS pending.

The Swine Flu saga continues. Mexico reported three new deaths from the swine flu epidemic Saturday and urged citizens not to let their guard down against a virus that has killed 19 in people in Mexico and is spreading across Asia and Europe.

The Embassy and Consulate General will monitor the H1N1 situation continuously during the week and will update information on our website if the dates of the suspension of service change.
Immigrant Visa operations in Ciudad Juarez have been suspended from April 30 to May 8. Immigrant visa and waiver applicants who have April 29 appointments should proceed to the Consulate. The panel physicians are closed. hello, I am in a F1 status for about 3 years, I have been working and filing taxes. I am going to get married to a USC and apply for a green card through it. I want to know if I can have any problem in the aplication since I've been working without authorization.
Once you entered legally you should be able to get permanent residence even if you worked without authorization. My 6 year H1 term expired in Jan 2010 (not applied for extension yet). I live in IL.
I took the motorcycle training class and passed. Now, I have to go to the DMV to get the license. My existing 4 wheeler license is valid upto 2011. Will I get my motorcyle license only till 2010 (end of H1)?

I am planning to apply for EAD and AP. Debating myself if I have to go with e-filing or paper based. Some one told me, paper based DOES NOTrequired biometrics where as E-filing DOES need biometrics? Could you please shed some light on this?

Looking at your profile, i am surprised u still havent received the plastic card.
If your card gets approved while you are out of the country i.e. US, and you dont have AP i had read earlier that it is considered as an abandonment. The sole purpose of AP is to provide you to get in and out of US while on AOS period.
Did u check with your company Attorney?

I am travelling to India next week and am scheduling an appoitment to get an H1B stamp. Will this be an issue? Is this considered abandonment of status?

I am in the same boat. All my applications and approvals in the past have been thru TSC. I submitted the EAD, AP renewals using efile today and got the same.
