You bring up a VERY good point. The US grows over 300 million metric tons of corn each year and we pack it into every softdrink. Even 'fruit' juices have more HFCS than actual fruit. Corn is poorly digested to begin with, and corn syrup definitely causes issues. The US also allows the usage of a few major chemicals in foods which the rest of the industrialized world, and a lot of the non industrialized world, stopped using years ago. Links of these chemicals to obesity is still being studied.

do you need to have a zillion gigabites free to use time machine in a decent way?
for example, if you have a 1 gigabite film, and u delete it 'putting it in the trash, and empty trash', it's still going to be on your hard drive, taking up space, right? and will it also save your cookies, bookmarks, deleted programs,
i rarely delete stuff by accident...so i hope this can be turned off, and won't interrupt much of my normal workflow, the way things are deleted now.

This is Hollywood we're talking about here. Sheen is hardly through. Look at Robert Downey Jr and Lindsay Lohan. They don't operate in the real world out there.
Both of them seem to at least be trying to get better. Sheen seems to be embracing his madness and going deeper into it. He's not sorry for anything he's done and seems to be actually proud of it. That doesn't spell "comeback" to me. That spells "checkout". As in, he ain't gonna be with us much longer.

To US its a big deal. It's a blow to the Al-Qaeda that doesn't exist anymore. The current one will still function just as it has for nearly a decade in its cell based way. If anything this will just piss off extremists. Don't think for a second some type of retaliation (most likely attacks in the Middle East) won't come about from this.

Actually they want to sell you the hardware, right? Apple calls itself a hardware company that makes a bit of software on the side, rather than software company that makes hardware to sell with it, doesn't it?

but who would want to have a full featured iTunes when you still haven't solved the problem of typing. The most efficient part for me is to type out what you're looking for. I do, however, see the advantage to making playlists more efficiently on the go, giving you the ability to shuffle anything you choose, not just "All Songs" which is a bother. :)Text input can be addressed in a lot of different ways. Bluetooth portable keyboards, for example. If I got a tablet, I'd also get myself a foldable keyboard to take along with me. Or you can make do with a virtual keyboard activated by gestures (2nd image):

I think the price has to do with it being not just hand made in general, but also hand stitched. They were telling me that hand stitching is stronger and easier to repair over what any machine can do, but takes a lot longer to do. They're really down to earth folks. Just a younger couple trying to make a living at a trade.
I want to have 1 or 2 but unfortunately I'm from Hong Kong. Not sure if they ship them oversea.

No, RAM from any PPC Mac won't work in any Intel Mac. Apple use a different type of RAM in their Intel machines and whilst all Intel Macs (aside from the Mac Pro) use the same type of RAM the same isn't true of the old PPC Macs.
Your 1GB stick won't work at all.
Cheers - I suspected as much.
Looking forward to replacing it next year tho' - by then under �1500 is going to go along way - plus my wife qualifies for a discount because she works for the NHS.
